AGWSR softball ran into a couple buzzsaws in a 13-2 loss to Waterloo Columbus and an 18-8 loss to Jesup on June 1 and June 2, respectively.
The Cougars fell to 0-8 overall.
Sidney Schafer and Catelynn Koop knocked in the runs for the Cougars against Waterloo Columbus. The Sailors got to the 10-run rule with all 13 runs scored within the first three innings of the game.
In the game against Jesup, AGWSR scored eight runs in the fourth inning to get within striking distance at a 9-8 deficit, but the J-Hawks poured on nine runs in the fifth inning to end it early.
