ACKLEY – The playoffs will last at least another week for AGWSR. The Cougars (5-3) dominated Meskwaki Settlement (3-5) 74-14 on Oct. 16 during the first round of playoff action.
AGWSR found the end zone early and often by piling up 40 points against the Warriors in the first quarter. From there, the scoring settled with both teams finding the end zone once in the second quarter. The Cougars tacked on another 28 points in the second half, while Meskwaki Settlement tacked on eight more points in the third quarter.
