GRUNDY CENTER – In a little more than 19 seasons of coaching softball, AGWSR co-head coach Scott O’Brien now has 400 career wins after an 8-3 victory against Grundy Center on Monday.
O’Brien insists that’s a testament to the caliber of the players that have come through the program. O’Brien coached one year at Ackley-Geneva in 1999, and the rest of his tenure has come after the district combined with Wellsburg-Steamboat Rock.
