Members of the Union-Whitten Class of 1973 were front and center as the 2023 Tar heel Days celebration brought crowds to the area.
A highlight of the weekend was the annual parade, led by American Legion Post 255, of Union, and and Post 681, of Conrad.
Erin Collins, the 2023 Miss Union, was on hand as royalty while the 2023 hardin County Fair Queen Kaci Bradshaw also was out in her crown.
Meanwhile, Dave Gunderson, Grand Marshall and "Town Scrooge" got in on the fun as well.
