GRUNDY CENTER - South Hardin boys basketball couldn’t find the needed spark to keep pace offensively in a 59-46 loss to 2A sixth-ranked Grundy Center on Tuesday last week, the Spartans sweeping the regular season series.
The Tigers hit the first two shots of the evening and were able to keep pace with the Spartans early before a technical foul was called on South Hardin, allowing the Spartans to shoot four free throws. Grundy Center had the momentum in the second quarter, outscoring the Tigers 12-7 to go into halftime with a 26-16 lead.
