Crash with train leads to fatality

The Iowa State Patrol is releasing details about a fatal crash involving a Radcliffe woman.

Kathaleen Houck, 71, was taken by Life Flight to Des Moines Methodist before later passing away after her vehicle was struck by a train in a crash on 290th Street between E Avenue and F Avenue at 10:53 a.m.

Eldora/Ackley Ambulance, Radcliffe Fire and Ambulance and Hardin County EMA and the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident.
