South Hardin completes comeback over Emmetsburg to reach quarterfinals

ELDORA - “A yellow bird. With a yellow bill. Sat upon my window sill…”

Coach Nick Eller led South Hardin football players and the student section through a chant Friday night under the lights, reminiscent of his own playing days at Hubbard-Radcliffe. 

“It's just basically kind of a war chant,” Eller said. “If you win, you did everything you could to finish them. A victory chant. We want our student section with us for the song because they are a part of the game.”
