Todd Oftedahl

Todd Alan Oftedahl, 58, of Steamboat Rock, Iowa passed away on June 16, 2024, at Glen Oaks Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Urbandale, Iowa.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 29th at 10:00 am at the Steamboat Rock Cemetery with Pastor Lynn Arends officiating.  Following the service, a celebration of Todd’s life and luncheon will be held from 11:00 to 1:00 at Adam’s Celebration of Life, Iowa Falls. Todd’s family requests friends and family to honor Todd on this day with casual dress attire. With honor, Adams Celebration of Life is serving the family.

Todd was born on December 23, 1965.  Throughout Todd’s life, he developed a passion for hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He worked many years in the construction business, which took him on many projects across the United States. 

Todd was a loving and generous person.  He was forever helping out his neighbors and family. Todd had such a big heart and was a true free spirit.

Todd is survived by his mother Martha “Micki” (Gene) Kies; sister Shelley (Alan) Mehne; brother Richard (Tammy) Oftedahl; stepbrothers Jeremy (Vicki) Kies, Jon (Jessica) Kies and children.

Todd is following his dad Donald Norman Oftedahl, numerous aunts, uncles and grandparents to the journey of heaven.
