Traffic camera given green light

ELDORA - A traffic camera looks likely to pop up in the city.
Eldora Police Chief Nick Hassebrock gave council a traffic camera update during council’s May 14 meeting.
“So, the legislature was pretty tricky this year as there were three bills introduced by legislators,” said Hassebrock as he explained that traffic cameras had not been banned outright for cities. “So, reviewing the legislation, it was very confusing.”
Traffic cameras have been spreading across the Hawkeye State as more communities adopt the devices.
