May 29 is National Biscuit Day… albeit a British one I discovered while researching this article. One of the many differences between British English and American English is that what they call a “biscuit”, we call a “cookie” or “cracker”.
Being as though I had already amassed my recipes for the column before discovering this, I’m going to culturally appropriate it and make this week’s recipes focus on American biscuits.
