The Eldora-Ackley Ambulance Service has won grant funding for AED upkeep. Assistant EMS Director Owen Spencer said the service has received $1,000 in grant funding for updating and replacing AEDs. “Keeping up on our AED’s and AED pad expirations ensures that we continue to keep our community safe in case of emergencies,” said Spencer. The service has been involved in the AED upkeep for a few years now. Units are maintained at the EMS garage, Council Chambers, the library, bowling alley, country club and other sites.
