SHEFFIELD - South Hardin girls basketball saw their season come to an end at the hands of West Fork for the second time in three seasons, with the Tigers unable to capitalize on opportunities given to them by the Warhawks in 56-52 loss on Saturday. West Fork jumped to a 15-9 lead after the first quarter behind their aggressive press defense, yet leading scorer Leah Weaver (20.9 ppg) sat with three fouls early in the second quarter. South Hardin had their chance to shrink the deficit with Weaver on the bench, but other Warhawks stepped up offensively and the Tigers saw shots rim out.
