ELDORA - South Hardin girls basketball opened its second week with a 57-44 bounce-back win at Oelwein on Tuesday before suffering a close 59-53 loss to West Marshall on Friday in their home opener.
Against Oelwein, the Tigers ruled the paint as senior Clara Below put up a double-double of 15 points and 15 boards. Junior Alli Sheldahl led the way with 19 points and five rebounds, also hitting seven of eight at the free throw line as the Tigers hit 14 of 21.
