FORT DODGE - The chilly temps put a damper on Mya Wilaby’s first time running at the State Cross Country Championships on Friday, but the South Hardin sophomore bundled up and competed alongside the best of the best in Class 1A in Fort Dodge.
“It definitely was a little strange being there for my first time, but it was a good environment,” Wilaby said. “I think I would have liked it a lot better if it was not as cold as it was.”
