CEDAR FALLS — Aplington-Parkersburg rallied from a four-point deficit in the fifth and deciding set Friday, denying South Hardin a State Volleyball Tournament berth with a 3-2 victory over the Tigers at Cedar Falls High School.
The Tigers (35-9) won two of the first three sets and led in the final two sets before coming up just short. They had won eight of their previous nine matches entering the regional final, with the lone loss also coming to A-P.
