STORY CITY - 2A seventh-ranked South Hardin volleyball competed in a five-team round-robin at Roland Story on Monday, falling to Kuemper Catholic in a rematch and then sweeping the remaining field.
The Tigers had defeated the 2A eighth-ranked Knights 22-20, 22-20 during the first week of the season, but Monday’s rematch saw Kuemper play a more efficient offense game. The Knight had 23 kills to South Hardin’s 16, and also came up with eight key blocks in a 21-17, 21-17 win. Junior Alli Sheldahl totaled six kills and junior Abby Teske 10 digs.
