HAMPTON - Iowa Falls-Alden/AGWSR cross country were forced to postpone their home meet to Saturday at Maynes Grove due to record heat, but the wait was worth it for the Cadets and South Hardin in attendance to get their first meets of 2023 in safely.
The Cadet girls placed third in the meet as a team with AGWSR senior Elizabeth Kielty placing 13th with a time of 23:21, followed by freshman Chloe Stilwell in 31st with a time of 24:55. The boys placed eighth with AGWSR sophomore Aaron Blackburn finishing 64th with a time of 23:55.
