At the 18th Annual Community Grant Awards Night for the Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation, the Eldora Herald Ledgers columnist, Steve Throssel was honored with the “Making a World of Difference” Award.
The award was created by the foundation to recognize community members who have given effortlessly resources and time to charitable causes throughout the county.
A native of Eldora, Throssel was born in the hospital that once existed south of the courthouse in 1955. He grew up in Eldora and according to Throssel, “life was good, and the community was vibrant.”
