On March 28, Sheila Craig gave a presentation to an interested group of women at the Eldora Public Library on “Remembering the Apron.”
Craig is currently lives in Preston, Minnesota. She is originally from Decorah, Iowa and graduated high school there. She is an Iowa State graduate.
When Craig retired in 2003 she wondered what she would do with her time. After seeing a program at the State Historical Society in Kansas, Craig was inspired to create a traveling exhibit displaying aprons from her personal collection at public libraries in Minnesota and Iowa.
