Eldora City Council in favor of hiring EMS full-time employees

The Eldora City Council voted in favor of starting the hiring process of 2 more EMS full-time employees at their meeting on Tuesday, July 12. The council has confidence in EMS director Maile Carter to make the right hiring decisions. Council Member Mike May Jr. commented he was voting for it because he believes in it, but only under the condition that if it ends up not making financial sense, those positions will be cut. The need for hiring more employees has been discussed for months, and after much consideration the council is excited to get the ball rolling on this.
