AMES – AGWSR senior Daniel Stahl completed his high school golfing career with a third-place individual medal at the Class 1A boys golf state tournament at Ames Golf & Country Club in a tournament ending Tuesday, May 24.
Stahl posted a score of 19-over par, shooting 81 on Monday, May 23 and coming in with an 80 on Day 2. He finished seven strokes behind runner-up Tim Castle of Mason City Newman, and was 11 strokes behind individual champion Bennett Berger of Lake Mills.
