DES MOINES – BCLUW boys track and field got a little redemption on Thursday morning.
The 4x800 relay team of Nick Pieper, Connor Lynch, Henry Kaisand and Cayden White earned sixth-place medals in 8:27.91.
Pieper, Lynch and Kaisand were the returners from last year’s 4x800 relay that finished 18th in 1A, a performance that the Comets knew was underwhelming.
“We’ve been looking forward to this all year,” Pieper said. “It was all about doing better than that.”
