ELDORA - This year has brought advances and retreats, and now maybe another big advance, as the Eldora-New Providence School pursues its longtime plans for buildings and grounds.
Last week, the E-NP board met and launched a drive to secure enough signatures to put a bond issue before voters in September. If approved, the bond would raise almost 10 million dollars to finance a host of projects at the downtown elementary campus and at the high school. Most notably, it would also cover the cost of replacing the downtown Eldora middle school gymnasium.
