HARDIN COUNTY - A few years ago, Hardin County Extension’s Kelvin Liebold hosted a visitor from Ukraine on an agricultural exchange. Liebold is a one-man farming goodwill ambassador, traveling the world and occasionally inviting the world back to Hardin County, courtesy of Iowa State University, Liebold’s employer.
His travels would take him to multiple countries in Europe and Asia. Among the destinations was Russia and Ukraine. He visited both during less tumultuous times.
