NEW HAMPTON – South Hardin-BCLUW senior Carter Kolthoff won the 120-pound title at a district tournament at New Hampton High School on Saturday to return to the state tournament for the second time in his career.
He started his day with a dominant win against Waukon’s Owen Malone, racking up back points on a couple takedowns before finally keeping Malone’s shoulders on the mat for a first-period pin.
