ELDORA – The Eldora City Council gave approval for the Central Iowa Disc Golf Group and Friends of Eldora Parks and Rec to use city land for a proposed 18-hole disc golf park at their Feb. 8 council meeting. Memorial Park will be the future location of the project.
“We got the official approval of the city to use the land for the park,” organizer Nicole Low said, adding that the Friends of Eldora Parks and Rec had been discussing a new disc golf park for a while.
