The BCLUW girls basketball team lost games against Grundy Center and West Marshall last Friday, Jan. 7 and Tuesday, Jan. 11, respectively.
Grundy Center won 59-31 and West Marshall claimed a 48-37 victory.
Chloe Walters led the Comets with 19 points against West Marshall, Allison Engle added 11 points. BCLUW had 18 turnovers and shot just 34 percent from the floor.
Engle scored 19 points with seven rebounds for the Comets in the game against the Spartans. Grundy Center led 25-6 after the first quarter of that game and was up 42-11 at halftime.
