ACKLEY – Karis Lippert helped set the tone for AGWSR girls basketball in Tuesday’s home matchup with BCLUW.
The speedy sophomore slashed to the basket to help push AGWSR out to an early 12-3 advantage, and the Cougars never trailed in a strong 44-30 victory over the Comets.
AGWSR improved to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the NICL West. BCLUW fell to 2-2 and 0-1 in the West.
Lippert finished with 12 points, nine of which came in the first quarter.
