So, it’s Halloween time. That’s when every scary movie that was ever made appears on satellite in repeat, and people spend weeks coming up with clever costume ideas for the big day/night. Interestingly, a little internet search says Halloween is both a Christian holiday – being a celebration the day before All Saints Day on Nov. 1 and All Souls Day on Nov. 2 – and an ancient Gaelic festival with pagan roots.
