HUBBARD - The two independent school districts making up the South Hardin combination confronted more troubling news on the declining enrollment front this past week. There was a precipitous decline in the Eldora-New Providence numbers, a decline at Hubbard-Radcliffe, too, and all indications were that the trend would continue at least into the near term.
“I don’t know what the answer is, but I know the school can not solve this alone. This is going to have to be a community effort,” in the words of schools’ superintendent Dr. Adam Zellmer.
