Sumner-Fredericksburg and Aplington-Parkersburg stopped AGWSR’s nine-match winning streak in a NICL crossover triangular at A-P High School on Tuesday.
Sumner-Fredericksburg, rated sixth in 2A, beat AGWSR 25-19, 25-15; the Falcons downed the Cougars 25-23, 25-18.
Earlier in the week, the Cougars made short work of a match at Colo-NESCO with a 25-14, 25-14, 25-13 win.
