STORY CITY – South Hardin volleyball won three matches as part of action at a Roland-Story tournament on Monday, Sept. 27.
The Tigers, at the time ranked fourth in Class 2A, defeated Ballard 21-16, 21-11; beat BCLUW 21-14, 21-17; and staved off the host team, ranked 14th in Class 3A, 21-15, 14-21, 15-4.
Ellie Anderson put down 15 kills in the win against the Norse; Rylee Nelson added eight kills. Jaidyn Teske and Ava Salvo brought up 16 and 11 digs, respectively.
BCLUW swept PCM, 21-9, 21-16 but Marshalltown beat the Comets in three, 16-21, 24-22, 16-14.
