BCLUW volleyball beat East Marshall and West Marshall last week.
The Comets swept the East Marshall Mustangs 25-16, 26-24, 25-16 on Tuesday, Sept. 28 and held on for a five-set win against West Marshall on Thursday, 25-18, 18-25, 34-32, 20-25, 20-18.
The win against the Mustangs lifted BCLUW to a three-way tie in the NICL West standings with Gladbrook-Reinbeck and Grundy Center at 3-2. Eden Wilson led the Comet attack with 15 kills and added 15 digs. Allison Engle had 10 kills, 11 assists, eight digs. Wilson and Kenna Paxson added three ace serves each.
