ELDORA - It was the finale for a several-years-long project of the Pine Lake Wildlife Club.
Members and their supplier met at the lake early this month to release 1,000 more juvenile walleye, part of a club initiative that has been spearheaded by long-time member Bill Stonebraker, and ongoing for three years.
The lake’s newcomers ranged from 3 to 8 inches, but they don’t stay that way forever. Some of their predecessors are already showing up in the catch of fishermen coming to Pine Lake State Park.
