ELDORA – Civil Engineer Evan DelVal of ISG Engineering spoke to the Hardin County Board of Supervisors about a proposed carbon dioxide pipeline, which will run in part, through Hardin County.
DelVal said he did not have specifics on the actual physical pipeline, but he wanted to talk to the supervisors about county inspection requirements because liquefied carbon dioxide (CO2) is considered a hazardous liquid by the state of Iowa.
