ELDORA – South Hardin pitcher Dante Dolash received one final accolade to cap off his high school baseball career, named to the top team of the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association’s Class 2A all-state baseball teams, released last Tuesday.
Dolash, a Simpson recruit, allowed just seven earned runs in 53 and two-thirds innings this summer, for a 0.91 earned run average. He struck out 85 with 17 walks and posted a 6-2 overall record as the Tigers’ ace.
At the plate, he hit .295 with four doubles, seven RBI and six runs scored.
