ELDORA – The Iowa’s Ride Weekender may have been pared down from the originally planned excursion – a week-long east to west trek across Iowa - but it still drew 700 cyclists to Eldora, said organizer Christie Pence.
The three-day event held July 16-18 included plenty of food, camping and entertainment opportunities for those who participated, and other surrounding communities also joined in on the fun.
“I was really impressed with how well it all came together,” Pence said. “There were no issues and we were ready for the riders when they came to town.”
