Children’s book author to hold book signing

ELDORA – Steamboat Rock native Bailey Primus, author of The Friendly Valley Children’s Books, will be holding a book signing and reading from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 24 during the Threshing and Power Show at the Hardin County Farm Museum in Eldora.

Primus both writes and illustrates children’s her books, which include Franny Goes to Town, Franny Does the Chores, Franny Finds a Dog and Franny’s Christmas Caper.

Eight-year-old Franny is based on Primus, herself. “Yes, it’s based on my life,” she laughed. “Except the Christmas Caper one, that was just a fun one.”
