And the fair is back

Last year was the first time I had covered the Hardin County Fair, and honestly, it was the first time I had ever been to the Hardin County Fair. Of course it was a “kids only” event last year because of “the pandemic” (I hate using the phrase ‘because of the pandemic’ or ‘because of COVID’ in referring to everything that didn’t happen last year), but a few extra people snuck in during that fair, even though they probably weren’t supposed to.
