Eldora resident/officer cleared in video blogger event

ELDORA – A report by Hardin County Attorney Darrell Meyer has proven that no misconduct has occurred and no criminal charges will be filed against Eldora resident Troy McDonald. This decision came after a March 14 incident where Omaha resident Floyd Wallace filmed an altercation involving himself, McDonald and an Eldora Police Officer, in front of the Eldora City Hall and Police Department. The altercation began when Wallace refused to obey the police officer’s commands, filmed the incident, and then posted his video to YouTube.
