ELDORA - Nearly a year ago, Eldora-New Providence School Board members were joined by Estes Construction, who gave an assessment of what it would take to bring school grounds up to 21st century standards. At the time, most items on the list were not urgent, and when COVID-19 leaped into the scene, the projects were tossed towards the back burner. Imperative repairs were tackled as they arose; such as replacing heating units and light fixtures in classrooms, and installing water fountains and a new phone system. Approximately $100,000 was spent on all the completed projects combined.
