ELDORA – The Hardin County Board of Supervisors met Feb. 10, and during the public comment section of the meeting, Eldora resident Julie Duhn pointed out that in the vendor claims paid, Supervisor Chairman BJ Hoffman had asked for reimbursement for gas mileage in the amount of $460.80 - from both this year and last year - for travel to and from meetings. She suggested that the county would save a lot of money if meetings were done at each supervisor’s home via Zoom in the next six months or a year.
