UNION – Paden Lawler, co-owner of the Union Iowa Hay Auction, has been in the business with his uncle Jerry McCoy since 2013, and on the second Saturday of most months, Lawler and McCoy can be found calling bids and shouting, “Sold!”
“We started in the fall of 2011,” Lawler began. “We worked out a deal with the Co-Op and Elevator - who owns the property – to be there, and we’ve been there ever since.”
