ELDORA - The Eldora Christmas Festival Christmas Light Contest committee had to think outside of the box this year for ways to brighten up their community. Due to COVID-19, many of the regular festivities were canceled, but a lighting contest appeared to be a safe and super fun way to jump into the joyful spirit of the Christmas season. The idea was posted on social media, and it instantly took off. A total of 31 area homes and businesses entered the contest, and maps were distributed.
