ELDORA - “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail,” Benjamin Franklin once said. The Hardin County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) will be following Franklin’s advice and requesting their contribution from the Board of Supervisors to be raised from $75,000 to $100,000 in the upcoming year. The year of 2020 has shined a light on the importance of building a reserve fund for emergencies. Two funds in the EMA’s budget, “Emergency equipment,” and “Emergency fund,” have not had money in them in the past.
