ELDORA – It’s deer hunting season in Iowa and Norby’s Manager Jessica Cole has a waiting list for those wanting boxes of bullets and shells. “We don’t have any ammunition,” she said. “None.” The shelves at her store emptied about the time the coronavirus arrived in Iowa. “Ever since COVID hit, we’ve had a hard time getting shells in.”
Cole is not alone. From big box stores to local mom and pop businesses, there are no bullets to be found anywhere.
