FORT DODGE – The only thing that stood between South Hardin (21-14) making it to the State volleyball tournament was East Sac County (23-1). The group of girls had already made it further than they ever had by winning in the Regional semifinals by sweeping Woodward-Granger on Oct. 26 on their home floor. That set up their biggest test yet against the then-undefeated Raiders with everything on the line.
