It seems like the tide might be turning around here.
Get Thrifty has opened on the west side of the square, someone is renovating the old Eldora Pizza and Steakhouse restaurant, and maybe… just maybe… a new Mexican restaurant will grace the corner of Washington and 14th Avenue. At least their sign was put up months ago, and movement every now and then keeps us hoping.
