UNION – Cami Cox was struggling with her son’s behavior in school, but because of a type of massage therapy she uses, he now has calmed down and loves school. “My kid had trouble in school and they wanted to do medication,” she said, but after adding Craniosacral therapy, “He does really good now.”
Craniosacral therapy is an alternative therapy, which uses touch to help with the flow of cerebrospinal fluid between the head and the base of the spine. “Fluid coats the brain and spinal column,” Cox said. “It’s the fluid that washes your brain when you sleep.”
