ELDORA – A new ordinance allowing golf carts on the streets of Eldora faces a public hearing 6 p.m. Oct. 13. The Eldora City Council met Sept. 8 and discussed this ordinance as part of their regular monthly meeting. Councilmember Cindy Johns suggested adding the Iowa Code to the ordinance, as well as not allowing persons to operate carts while under the influence of alcohol and mind-altering drugs.
